FastBooking confirms its development in GDS/IDS distribution
Paris, 13 September 2007 - FastBooking, the expert in Internet-based hotel booking solutions, confirms its growth in the sector of GDS/IDS representation. The company has recently signed up its 500th client, scarcely two years after launching its integrated distribution solution.
The Swiss hotel group Manotel has recently adopted FastBooking's GDS/IDS solution. With this new client, FastBooking now has a portfolio of 500 hotels across the world, represented by the hotel chain code ON.
The solution is an integral part of FastBooking's range, and offers hotel owners a presence on 4 GDS and over 70 IDS networks.
"FastBooking's GDS/IDS solution gives hoteliers cutting-edge technology with a simple, user-friendly client interface. From a single entry point we can control our prices and availability with great flexibility and total control in real time over all networks", says David Blanc, e-Business Manager of Manotel.
A resolutely reliable system
On the travel agency side, FastBooking's solution is just as powerful.
Using the latest connection technologies, it guarantees travel agents real-time access to hotel availability and prices, making hotel bookings a very smooth process. "Agencies can make bookings in total confidence without having to check details", explains Ludivine Balicco, FastBooking's GDS/IDS Product Manager.
The same efficient and reliable technology used for public prices also works for negotiated/consortium prices.
Commission payments, a FastBooking priority
Among the latest improvements made to the system, FastBooking was determined to smooth out the payment of commissions to agencies. The company has recently changed partners, choosing the WPS solution. "Thanks to WPS, we can pay agencies quickly at any time as soon as we receive payment from our clients. This is a priority for us, and is an essential basis for an efficient, professional relationship with agencies", explains Ludivine Balicco.
